Which serum when
Different phase. Different care.
Menstruation
Days 1–5
Sang Souci
Oestrogen and progesterone are at their lowest. Skin can feel drier and more reactive. Sang Souci soothes and helps reinforce the skin barrier.
Follicular
Days 6–13
Trop Fraîche
Oestrogen rises and skin bounces back. Trop Fraîche revives radiance and vitality.
Ovulation
Days 14–16
Coup de Foudre
Often the moment skin is at its brightest. Coup de Foudre maintains hydration and natural glow.
Luteal
Days 17–28
Drama Queen
Progesterone takes over: more sebum, sometimes breakouts. Drama Queen helps rebalance.
Every cycle is different. These days are a guide for a 28-day cycle, not a rule.
Good to know
Your cycle, your rhythm.
Both work. Apply in the morning and/or evening on clean skin, before your moisturiser. Always end with SPF in the morning.
Your cycle may be on pause, but your skin still has needs. Pick the serum that matches what your skin is telling you right now.
Start counting on the first day of your period: that’s day 1. In a typical 28-day cycle, menstruation lasts around days 1 to 5, the follicular phase continues until ovulation around day 14, and the luteal phase follows until your next period. Every cycle is different, so these timings are only averages.
To help you track your cycle, you can use an app or wearable, or simply start noticing changes in your skin, body and mood. Over time, you’ll get to know your body’s unique patterns.
It depends on how often you use it each day and how long your phase lasts, as cycle length can vary from person to person. If you use The Set according to your cycle, one set lasts around 3 months, with some serums lasting a little longer than others.
Yes. Apply your serum on clean skin, before your moisturiser. Using retinol or exfoliating acids? Keep them for different evenings rather than layering them, and give your skin a few days to adjust.
